Get to Know Jess
As a consultant, Jess is focused on identifying and understanding hiring needs, sourcing candidates through databases, conducting interviews, and supporting candidates throughout the placement process. We asked her the following set of questions to learn more about her interests and insights:
What do you like about working with Total Talent Search?
Our team has known each other and worked together for a long time. We are partners, and while there is always a playful competition, we are also each other’s greatest champions!
How does TTS support your personal and career goals?
TTS has given me the opportunity to grow and stretch myself in my professional development. I have learned new tools and gained new insight that I haven’t been able to before!
What’s the best piece of advice someone has ever given you in your career?
Business is not black and white. Business relationships that are important sometimes have to be out of the box.
What’s one piece of advice every job seeker needs to hear?
Heed the advice from your recruiter. We take the time to get to know the nitty-gritty of each job and company, and we can give you insight that you’re not going to find on your own.
Why would you encourage a client or candidate to work with Total Talent Search?
I speak with a lot of people day to day, and I often hear that their experience with our team is totally different. We take the time to get to know people and their needs. We don’t push—we focus on getting great people great jobs!
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
My dog is my best friend, so I spend a lot of time with her outside. We will often go to my parents’ pond to let her run and play! I also love to travel and see the world.
