Jessica Moore

Jessica joins Total Talent Search with direct hire and contingent workforce solutions experience within the manufacturing and logistics industries. Jessica completed her undergraduate degree in Chicago-which is her favorite city in the country. As a self-proclaimed “navy brat”, Jessica has traveled the world and has recently settled in South Carolina. Her passions include spending time with her dog and baking.

What are your core responsibilities?
Full desk recruiting. Identifying and understanding hiring needs, sourcing candidates through databases, conducting interviews, supporting candidates through interviewing process to final placement. Providing a consultative approach to clients regarding current recruitment challenges.
What do you like about working at TTS?
I enjoy the collaborative style my teams takes when working together. We really are a team, and we value each other and our business’ success.
What is the greatest strength you bring to the team?
I think my greatest strength is my ability to communicate with a wider audience and understanding all walks of people.

I want my contributions and strengths to be what helps drive our company to deeper success.
What are your goals with TTS? How do you plan to help the company grow?
My desire it to be able to develop myself professionally and find other ways to support TTS in the coming years.
Which skills differentiate your interactions and service? What do you do for clients and/or candidates that no one else can do?
I try to develop relationships with clients and candidates. I want to identify at least one thing in common that can separate and elevate me from just a ‘recruiter’ to a business partner.
Tell us a little about your background
My degree is in Counseling, and I began my professional career in Social Work. I joined Jen and her team a few years ago as a recruiter and transitioned into working for our VIP clients directly, traveling to all VIP clients and supporting them through creative workforce management strategies.

My dream was to become a tornado chaser as a child.

Most people think I am a lot younger than I am, so people seem to be surprised to hear my age.

Punk, because as a kid I looked like Punky Brewster.

I’ve traveled to about 25 countries so far and spent 3 years after high school doing humanitarian work in Asia.

I have been in staffing and recruiting for 17 years and strive for excellence in my interactions and service at all levels of internal and external organizations. I work to gain the trust of my colleagues, candidates and clients by listening to their needs and providing helpful solutions. Trust is the key to building relationships.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Georgia State University. I have always loved helping people and animals. I have been a volunteer for our local animal shelter and foster dog mom. Before I began my career in staffing, I worked as a makeup artist at Neiman Marcus.

She has extensive experience in contingent, direct hire, talent acquisition, and RPO services with multi-P&L responsibilities. Jen specializes in aligning world-class organizations with professional talent, providing industry-specific staffing solutions and workforce management strategies.

Beky has been in the staffing and recruiting industry since 2008 and has been solely focused on manufacturing/logistics recruitment since 1995. Beky’s primary focus is on supervisor, manager, senior manager and executive leadership roles.

What are your core responsibilities?
Staying up to date with trends and technology for candidate sourcing, partnering with hiring managers globally in a fast-paced recruiting organization to develop hiring strategies to meet business needs. Creatively recruit using a multitude of resources to generate qualified candidates. Screen candidates and share qualified profiles with hiring managers. Build strategic candidate pipelines for current and future roles. Maintain and update submitted candidates in applicant tracking system, extending, and negotiating offers.

That Jen Hill is my leadership team, that there’s not much red tape to cut when making decisions that best serve my client and TTS

Tenure, experience, and a wicked sense of humor.
How do you want your contributions to improve TTS for the better?
Build in a strategy that makes it impossible to lose offers, to always have a backup to my back up candidate.
What are your goals with TTS? How do you plan to help the company grow?
To get us above 100K a month in fees, I will do my best to have at least 3 pending positions in the air at one time, all the time.
Which skills differentiate your interactions and service? What do you do for clients and/or candidates that no one else can do?
I have been in the industry since 1995, to say that I am seasoned is an understatement. It impacts my service with clients as candidates as well. I am genuine, knowledgeable, and quirky. I do get the job done. I would say that no one else can challenge my clients and candidates to think outside of the box as much as I do. I also do not have a “routine”. I tend to connect on a higher level with both.

I just completed my Associates of Arts Degree after putting it off for 27 years, currently studying for my bachelor’s in psychology with a minor in Mental Health. I have worked for fortune 500 companies such as Disney and Starbucks.
