Get to Know Melanie

As part of Total Talent Search, Melanie connects clients with top-notch talent to fill their job openings and ensure candidates find the perfect career opportunities. She focuses on matching the right job and company to the right culture fits every time. Here’s what she has to say about her work:

What do you like about working with Total Talent Search?

I love our company culture, our values, and most of all, our team. I have the BEST leader in the business!

How does TTS support your personal and career goals?

TTS offers work-life balance, celebrates the big and small successes of our team, and gives me financial stability.

What is the greatest strength you bring to the team?

I have been in staffing and recruiting for over 15 years within the commercial and professional sectors. With that comes extensive experience in contingent placements, direct hire, and talent acquisition that helps me connect the right people with the right business.

Why would you encourage someone to work with your team?

We are a tenured team. We have been in the staffing industry for well over 10 years. We have a proven process and a 98% retention rate when it comes to our job placements. We make the right match as we work hard to understand what clients and candidates are seeking.

Which skills differentiate your service?

Trust is the key to building relationships. I strive for excellence in my interactions and service at all levels of internal and external organizations. I do what it takes to gain the trust of my colleagues, candidates, and clients by listening to their needs and providing helpful solutions.

What’s the best piece of advice someone has ever given you in your career?

Work hard but take your lunch hour and your PTO—it’s good for the mind, soul, and body.

Tell us a little about your background.

I have a diverse background that has shaped where I am today. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgia State University. Before I began my career in staffing, I worked as a makeup artist at Neiman Marcus. Additionally, I have always loved helping people and animals as I volunteer for our local animal shelter and am a foster dog mom.
